Skills Export
One of the features of AfterWorld is the facility enabling players to export their skills
levels as an XML file.
How To Export Data

| To export the data from the Cerebum Analyser within the PDA select the Skills Page as indicated by the orange arrows in the screenshot. |

| Click Export, this will save an XML file (named after your Citizen ID number) in the folder ../AfterWorld/export. |
Data Analysis
The data from the XML file is a little tricky to analyse in it's raw state.
Online Analysis
The Irken Invaders society website includes a page enabling a player to upload the
data file and read the data in a clearer state. The link to the site is here.
Spreadsheet Analysis
If you wish to analyse your skills in a spreadsheet, a skills analysis Microsoft Excel
(Versions 2003 and later) file is available for download here.
Import XML Data

| Once the file is open you need to right click in one of the fields that the XML maps to, e.g. right click in the field below Citizen ID.

| Locate the exported skills XML file (see screenshot) select it and click Import: |
Display Skills

| The file will then populate with all your skills data as the example shown.
You can then use the various filters in the skill categories etc to sort the data as required. You can also save the file as an .xls file and keep for your records. Also added is a conditional format to indicate when a particular skill is nearing requiring an unlock, if you will need to unlock the skill when it reaches the end of the current stage the field shows red, if you have 1 more stage remaining it shows as orange. |
