Unblock skills

Checking Skill Progress

As you continue to skill you can see how your skill levels are
progressing via the Cerebrum Analyser accessed from the PDA.

Each skill level needs 10% more SAU than the level before.

The EXCEL construction is given by the formula:

=ROUND(3600*POWER(1,1;Stage);-1)

Blocked Skills

When you have skilled sufficiently enough to have completed a stage
(in the example - Electric Avoidance & Stab Avoidance), the progress
bar will turn red and you will get a message in the chat box.

As the message tells you, you can continue to skill but the blocked
skill will no longer accumulate skill points until it is unblocked.

To unblock the skills you need to visit the Skill Advancement Terminal
and pay using the Skill Advancement Units (SAUs) that you have
accumulated to have your brain upgraded to continue to learn skills
in the blocked categories.

It is worth noting that many skills are grouped and gain levels at a
similar rate i.e. the example above shows Electric and Stab Avoidance
both require unblocking. The skills in the example were gained from
hunting Eslugs in Saransk West and as the Skill Advancement Terminal
is located in Saransk. Here the decision was made to make sure both
Electric and Stab Avoidance were at 100% before unblocking them together
and avoiding additional journeys to the Terminal to unlock individual
skills one at a time.

Unblocking Skills

The Skill Advancement Terminal is located in the underground Resurrection
Center located North in the Town of Saransk.

Run down into the bunker and enter the center on the lowest level.

The Skill Advancement Terminal is located in the center of the room, to
activate it right click on it.

The display will now list all your skills and their progress, you can press
the various buttons at the top of the terminal interface to change the view.
To view the skill which require upgrading, click on the All and Progress
buttons and the skills requiring an upgrade will appear at the top of the list.
The boxes on the left hand side of the skills will be coloured dark green. The
amount of SAU required to upgrade the skill is show on the right of each skill,
as you increase the skill stages the amount required also increases i.e. from
Stage 0 to 1 is 3600 SAU, Stage 1 to 2 is 3900 SAU.

Click the dark green boxes to select the skills you wish to upgrade and the
boxes will turn light green and the total number of SAU required is shown at
the bottom of the interface.

Click the Advance button to confirm the process and you will be presented
with a final confirmation prompt.

You will receive confirmation of the advancement. You can now
return to your activities and continue to gain skills in the
upgraded skills.

Note: The skills interface will continue to show you as 100% on the previous
level until you gain a point in the relevant skill and you will get the a message
and the stage will increase by 1 and the progress reset to 0%

A tip worth noting is that once you have reached 100% in a skill you can
unblock more than one stage at once. Meaning that instead of leveling up
and unblocking a skill one stage at a time and returning to Sarasnk everytime,
you can unblock several stages (at progressively higher SAU) in one visit.
You need to unblock each stage individually (you can't select multiple
stages at once) just reclick on the skill after each upgrade to unblock
the next stage.
